Successful COMP Launch at WCI

The first session of the Chess Opening Mentorship Program (COMP) at Walnut Creek Intermediate School (WCI) last week was a success! All of the 20+ students really enjoyed playing chess against each other and improving their skills. Furthermore, many of them loved testing out Opening Move Mentor (OMM), our chess AI, and using it to improve their chess openings by testing out new moves.

Overall, it seems that the kids had an amazing time playing against each other and testing out the website and OMM. We look forward to building on their excitement as we continue running weekly sessions at WCI in the future!
